
Don Diego
Don and his wife came to Las Cruces and the Great Southwest in February 2005 from Fort Worth, Texas. He graduated from American Broadcasting School in November 2003. Don was recruited from the Oldies Station (KLUV) in Dallas to be part of the “Bravo Mic Communications” broadcasting team and is the 3-7 Afternoon Drive Time Personality on 101 Gold.
Since then, the Double D has been leaving his mark all over place. He loves working with people in the community. Don is involved with, Big Brothers & Big Sisters of Southern New Mexico and currently serves as their President. He is actively involved with the Breakfast Optimist Club of Las Cruces and serves as their President. Don is also involved with the Greater Las Cruces Chamber of Commerce is a Conquistador and the Chairperson for “Good Morning Las Cruces.” Don is also an active member of “First Evangelical Free Church” here in Las Cruces. That’s not all, Don also supports and works with, “United Blood Services”, the “Alzheimer’s Association”, the “Restore”, the “Clothing Room” and the “ Las Cruces Community Theater.” In addition Don owns a small business called “The Reconciliation Center”, providing low cost mediation services to Southern New Mexico and the Third Judicial Court.
The guy just doesn’t know when to stop. His motto is, “When you need me, I will come.”
Don’s wife Kathy is a school teacher with the LCPS and they have three grown daughters, Danielle Lisa and April. He loves the Cowboy’s, traveling, fishing, playing games an being around people. You’ll usually find Rocky (Don’s faithfully Pomeranian) some where close when Don is out and about.
Don would like to explore the possibilities of doing “Talk Radio” someday. |
