I was born a poor black child….oh sorry I think Steve martin used that line in “The Jerk”.
There are 2 sides to me. I was a rock musician for many years in the state of Washington & on the other side of that I was a retail big box manager for many years. I owned businesses and also owned patents in the sporting goods industry.
I had known many radio personalities throughout the years. When I gave up being a rock star I was approached by a friend of mine who is a morning host on a rock station who wanted me to do mornings with him because of my quick wit and humor.
I accepted his offer and the rest is history. I went from Washington to Idaho to Tucson on to Virginia and landed here in Las Cruces which I absolutely love. I have known and interviewed many rock stars and musicians some of whom I already knew from “back in the day”. My oldest son is named after Three Dog Night singer Cory Wells.
I have spent time at the Grammy Awards over the years either through radio or knowing people in the industry who invited me so periodically you will hear me tell stories about my relationships with them.
In my spare time I love spending time with my family which consists of a wife and 2 kids…lol. I also spend time going to storage auctions as seen on tv and love bidding on them.
