Fabulous Fourth of July Concerts: America, Don McLean, James Taylor and Many More

iStock/ThinkstockBesides enjoying fireworks, barbecue and a day off of work, music fans in the U.S. will be able to celebrate the Fourth of July by checking out some cool concerts by a variety of great artists around the country.

Among the veteran stars scheduled to play Independence Day shows are, appropriately, America and “American Pie” singer Don McLean, as well as Eddie Money, James Taylor, B.J. Thomas and War.  In addition, the Soundtrack of Summer Tour featuring Foreigner, Styx and Don Felder will be stopping in Scranton, Pennsylvania, while Diana Ross and Journey‘s joint trek with the Steve Miller Band will be entertaining crowds just north of the border, respectively, in Montreal and Ottawa.

Here’s an alphabetical rundown of many of the acts that will be playing July 4 concerts across North America:
