"Savages" Los Angeles Premiere - ArrivalsJohn Travolta reportedly felt so guilty about his flubbing Idina Menzel’s name at the Oscars that he sent her an apology gift backstage of her new Broadway musical If/Then. A source revealed to E! News, “He sent  her a big, gorgeous bouquet of flowers to her dressing room. It was HUGE. It was his apology to her. It was clear he felt very bad about it. And by the size of the arrangement it was an obvious ‘forgive me please’ gesture.” In the days following John’s error on live TV, he released a statement saying, “I’ve been beating myself up all day. Then I thought…What would Idina Menzel say? She’d say, ‘Let it go, let it go!’ Idina is incredibly talented and I am so happy Frozen took home two Oscars that night!”
