EYEBALL LICKING CAUSING PINKEYE IN JAPAN: A Japanese elementary school has reported an outbreak of pinkeye caused by eyeball licking. The strange erotic activity, called “worming,” is gaining popularity with pre-teens in Japan. In one classroom, one-third of students admitted to “worming.” Officials for the school knew something was up when some of the students came into school wearing eye patches. San Diego ophthalmologist Dr. Dave Grant warned, “Nothing good can come of this . . . The cornea is very sensitive and could be scarred.”
