Pirates of the Caribbean star Johnny Depp feels lucky to have achieved the level of success he has gotten to without playing the Hollywood game. The actor opened up to the Belfast Telegraph while taking a look back on his career.
The 49-year-old told the newspaper, “Somebody once put together a reel of various bits of different films that I have done. When I saw all the characters lined up in a row like that, I thought it was amazing that I was able to get away with it.” He went on to say, “I still feel lucky to be in the game…well, to be in the game without having to play the game too awful much, you know?”
- Depp is promoting his role as the Native American Tonto in The Lone Ranger which hits theaters July 3rd. After all who could say no to that face.
