The Rolling Stones wrapped up their three-night-stand last night (June 3rd) at Chicago’s United Center with a guest appearance by yet another pop ingenue — country star Taylor Swift. Swift duetted with Mick Jagger on the band’s early ballad, “As Tears Go By.” Last night’s show was also notable for being the second gig running to feature Mick Taylor sitting in on a total of three tunes — in addition to his usual “Midnight Rambler” and “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction” encore, Taylor reprised his guitar work on the Sticky Fingers classic, “Sway” — which was the Internet fan pick of the night.
At the previous Chicago show (May 31st), Taylor performed his legendary extended workout on “Can’t You Hear Me Knocking,” with Sheryl Crow sitting in with the band for the Exile On Main Street favorite, “All Down The Line.”
