Back in 2011, a 79-year-old woman woke from a five-year coma and uttered nine words: “I want to go to a Bob Seger concert.” Tonight (April 11th), Flint, Michigan native Evie Branan gets her wish. Ultimate Classic Rock reported that Branan and two of the healthcare workers helping her over the past two years will accompany her to tonight’s Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band concert in Auburn Hills, Michigan at the Palace Of Auburn Hills. Thanks in part to her nursing home administrator Michelle Cross and the Seger management company, Punch Enterprises, Branan and her helpers will be taken to the show by limousine and following the concert, serve as Seger’s guests of honor at the band’s post-show dinner. Tonight’s show will mark Evie Branan’s fifth Seger concert.
