This little cutie has been at the Shelter since last July – when he was just a puppy!!! Now he’s 11 months old and adorable as can be in his little flannel jacket.
Meet Sgt. Stubby (named because of his 2 inch tail) at the Animal Services Center of the Mesilla Valley when they open at noon! He appears to be a Chihuahua/Dacshund mix and is already neutered and has his shots so he is ready to go TODAY!
The shelter volunteers will be out this weekend at the Farmer’s Market and at Pet Co. Call 575-383-0018 for details.

Rummage Sale…Sat. 9 to 3 pm for APA (Action Programs for Animals) & HSSNM (Humane Society of Southern New Mexico). We are trying to raise money for these two wonderful groups who are rescuing many animals from the shelter and also it is the pet food bank. It will be at the VFW Post 3242 on 2001 Mesquite St. We will have enchilada plates, and baked goods, raffle prizes, and a pet adoption included in our Rummage Sale.
