Having just wrapped his winter dates, Jackson Browne has announced his initial solo acoustic concerts. As it stands now, the proper tour will kick off on June 19th in Salt Lake City and wrap over two nights on July 5th and 6th at Atlantic City’s Borgata Hotel, Casino & Spa. Before the tour, Browne has three dates on the books — two Texas shows opening for Jimmy Buffett on May 2nd in Austin and May 4th and Dallas, along with a May 11th appearance at Northern California’s Bottle Rock Napa Valley at the Napa Valley Exposition. Also appearing on the bill with Browne that night will be Kings Of Leon, Ben Harper & Charlie Musselwhite, Jane’s Addiction, Bad Religion, and Dwight Yoakam.

In addition to his more recent work, Jackson Browne’s recent shows also include such classics as “Boulevard,” “Running On Empty,” and his breakthrough hit “Doctor My Eyes.” Browne says that “Doctor My Eyes” was the result of writing on a broken piano
