1982: Princess Grace of Monaco, former actress Grace Kelly, died at age 52 of injuries in a car crash the day before.











1968 -. A cartoon show based on a comic book series premiered on CBS.  Studio musicians named after the lead character would record a song which would later become the biggest hit of the year.  They called themselves the Archies.
