Toe-besity

Having fat toes is called “toe-besity”, at least according to New York-based podiatrist Dr. Oliver Zong. Dr. Zong removes fat from toes and also performs toe shortenings. Another New York podiatric surgeon, Dr. Hillary Brenner, says a number of patients – mostly women – have come to her hoping to have their pinky toes removed in order to fit into smaller shoes! She always turns them down, however. “Why fix something that’s not broken?” she said.
