From Working in Prison to Living in Jail

This is the 20 year old woman who was arrested for allegedly smuggling heroin and cocaine in to the Southern NM Correctional Faciltiy. Candace Holmes worked there as a food service employee. Now she’s being held at the Dona Ana County Detention Center on 6 felony counts. Phone calls with an inmate who told her to “make sure the jewelry is in the jewelry box” were monitored by prison officials.
